Update on the Family.

Such a cute cowgirl!!

Riding horses at Great-Papa King's

Our new baby calf, a couple of days old.

Baby calf, taking his first steps.

Helping uncle mike compact the silage at Great-Papa King's

Helping out at the bull sale and buying our three hefers.

Brinlee riding Swiper, this is one of her favorite activities. I can't wait until she can catch him, saddle him and ride him all by herself, j/k, I need to let her ride more often though.

Helping mom plant flowers. Actually she was doing better at picking then planting.

My first bull ride, unfortunately I didn't last the full 8 seconds.

Trying to move the log. She loves to be outside.

Work:
This last school year, I took on a new teaching position at the Junior High, I never thought I would teach Junior High. I was way excited for the job change, because I got to have my own classroom and my own class. I am so excited to be back teaching severe special education. This year was a challenge, but I loved it. I teach basic skills English, reading, math, history, science, and study skills. For the 2010-2011 school year I am adding a little more work to my case load. Along with still teaching at the Junior High, I will be overseeing the resource program at my previous school, Bruin Point Elementary, and taking care of all the paper work. I will probably end up being the head of the special education department at the Junior High also. Lots of work, but I'm up to the challenge.

Brinlee:
Brinlee will be 2 years old on Monday the 21st, I can't believe how fast she has grown. She loves to ride her pony and help Dad feed the cows. We went out to the desert to help Papa King brand the new calves and she loved it. She was helping Klint move the cows down the alley, she had to have her own sorting pole and everything.
At her early birthday party with her cousin Payton, Grandma and Grandpa King gave them some princess dress up shoes. Brinlee put them on took one step and said, "ah," pointed to her feet and said, "boots." So the rest of the night she ran around with her princess dress and her cowgirl boots.
